Examples of Work

CABBI

CABBI (Center for Advanced Bioenergy and Bioproducts Innovation) asked us to design and develop a new WordPress site. I faced several challenges with this site. I was provided with a homepage design at 1200px wide which included a couple of extra block designs, and I designed the rest. There were a few information architecture considerations, including research filtering and the team pages. We had to migrate all content by hand, as the pages were previously built in page content not using any type of post structure. The project timeline was less than 8 weeks from start of development to launch (in December 2023). I'm glad I was able to stretch my dev and design muscles a bit with this project and we were able to deliver a product that the client was very happy with. Built using WordPress Gutenberg, ACF, and Bootstrap.

White Cup Solutions

White Cup Solutions was a B2B WordPress website built in 2021. I was the primary developer and was responsible for the initial frontend build as well as both front end and back end updates after launch. It was a large site on a tight timeline and it was rewarding to finish it by the deadline.

Invicti

A single landing page experience built for Invicti as a PPC page. The concentration for this project was on displaying the data and making sure the animations were visually interesting but did not distract. Built using Vite and Handlebars and animated with Greensock.

Merch Test Site

This site never went live, but was originally going to be used to sell company merch. It was a great exercise in building my own modules and really learning the ins and outs of Shopify. Built with Shopify CLI and animated with Greensock. PW: Gulls!2022!

Akkerman

Akkerman is a manufacturer of advanced underground construction equipment systems. This site was a challenge due to its size. For the information architecture I conducted extensive research on the subject matter as well as worked with the team of designers and project managers to ensure that it made sense for customers. Built with WordPress.

Great Plains Orthopaedic

The Great Plains site has a focus on introducing patients to the practice. I was challenged by having to take over for another developer after the site was started and work within their established code. Built with WordPress.

General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport

Developing a site for the local international airport was immensely rewarding. The client waited a few years between design and development, so the design had already been a bit dated by 2020 when development was started. We were able to add a few fun elements such as the interactive flight map on the homepage and the small animations. Built with WordPress.
